Amanda Bray started working with Donna Cummings Photography in 2003 as a second shooter for our very first wedding. Amanda was still in High School at The Brook Hill School in Bullard, Texas at that time. She began as a part-time assistant and has worked continuously for us until becoming a full-time part owner in 2010. Amanda received her bachelor degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2008. I re-introduced Amanda to my brother, James in 2007 with the suggestion that if she married him, I would photograph her wedding for free! So, not surprisingly, she took me up on the offer and swept him off his feet! They were married in Vegas in 2008.

Now that we are sisters-in-law and co-owners of Donna Cummings Photography, Amanda and I share most all of the daily workload, each booking client sessions and weddings. Amanda is also a new mommy, so she relates well to our Mommy & Me clients. Her son, Creed Taylor was born on October 18th, 2011. He was our youngest sweet subject and we decided then and there that the best newborn images can be captured while the baby is less than a week old!
