Hi everyone! My name is Whitney. Donna has asked me to be a guest blogger to fill you in on the picnic themed photo shoot we did this evening!
First I’ll fill you in on a little bit about myself and how I came to know Donna. I have been married to a wonderful man named Chase for a little over a year. We met in statistics class at UT Tyler in 2008 (I sat next to him and picked him up, although he begs to differ), became best friends, and got engaged nine months later! Donna was the first photographer we went to see when planning our wedding and once we met her we instantly said “yes”!
In a photographer, I was looking for direction, creativity, fun, and most importantly gorgeous photos that captured our love story! Simply taking photos is easy. Capturing the love and beauty of a relationship through photography takes skill! The four photo sessions I have had with Donna since our initial meeting have confirmed what I knew since the first time I met her: she sees each client as having a unique story and works to bring that story to life through photographs.
So back to tonight’s photos! We met on location and set up our romantic picnic scene, armed with a cute blanket, champagne, strawberries, and a beautiful sunset. (Tip: Champagne makes photo sessions more fun!)
We brought along our sweet beagles Harley and Bentley so we could get a family picture for our Christmas card. We thought it would take forever to get both dogs to calm down and look at the camera, but Donna must be a dog whisperer! We got the perfect shot after a few minutes. The perfect shot is what we have come to expect when we use Donna. And we are never disappointed!
